Physical fitness is without a doubt a very invigorating feeling and it is something that we normally take for granted. We don’t realize how fit we actually are and how liberating it can be to have a fit and healthy state of mind until we lose this fitness. Like everything else in life, the more you put into fitness the more you will get out of it.
It is important to know that we all have different levels of fitness and different expectations about our health and fitness. A person who intends to run for a marathon would define fitness as his ability to successfully run around his local park but a normal person cannot expect his body to oblige if he thinks he can go for a ten mile run. Therefore we are required to be realistic in our goals and approach. It can just be about losing weight or it can be about increasing our level of fitness for an upcoming sports event. If we have a target in our mind we can easily keep ourselves motivated and even increase our training efforts if required.
You should know that if your goal is to lose weight even then you are required to stay fit as there is no need of starving yourself. Eating well, exercising and burning more calories than you take in are the integral parts of losing weight. If u haven’t trained in a long time and are new to the fitness program then you should consult with a doctor beforehand and not put too much effort on your body too soon.
